Back some years ago I, and my friends were traveling the back roads of central Ohio. There were so many of us that one of the guys had to ride in the trunk. He was ok with that because we gave him a pipe and some weed. Anyway we were traveling along smoking a pipe when we heard and saw the police. Eric, who was driving pulled over almost into a ditch so that the car was tipped. Well we frantically looked around to see what was in the car joint, open beer and Floyd in the trunk smoking weed. Any way the officer came up to the car and asked us what we were doing and to let us know that a tail light was out. So, we all piled out of the car and not realizing that the car was almost in the ditch it was tipping more so. The cop talked to us and told Eric to get the taillight fixed. We breathed a sigh of relief and drove away. A couple of miles later we see the cop car and hear the siren. Eric pulls over again and the cop accuses us of stealing a dog. He demands we open the trunk. So we tell him that we haven't taken the dog but Floyd was in the trunk. The cop takes the keys and opens the trunk and there was Floyd. He was so high that he did not know what was happening. He climbed out of the trunk and we got a lecture from the cop about safe driving practices. WHEW!!! that was a close one.
